A new public hide has been officially opened at West Charleton Marsh where nature lovers will be able to view some of the district's most rare and treasured wildlife. The Chris Rogers Memorial Hide gives hide visitors wonderful views back over the marsh as well as over the Charleton Bay of the part of Kingsbridge estuary. Opened by Mrs Jane Rogers on Wednesday 15 September, it was built two months ago and is discreetly located on the seawall at the seaward end of the Rogers family-owned West Charleton Marsh.
